The purpose of this study is the effect of succession on human capital productivity in a military force. This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of method is a descriptive survey research. The statistical population in this study is the commanders and staff of the in a military force Deputy Human Resources in Tehran, which is equal to290 people. Sampling of this research is simple random sampling. The minimum required sample size according to Cochran's formula is 165 people, of which 141 questionnaires suitable for analysis were provided to the researcher. Data collection tools in this study were researcher-made questionnaires for variables of succession and productivity of human capital, whose validity was confirmed by face and content validity and their reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient and combined reliability. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS and Smart-PLS software and the research hypotheses were investigated using structural equation modeling. The results of the research show that succession has a significant effect on the productivity of in a military force human capital. Also, among the dimensions of succession planning, the evaluation dimension of the succession program has the greatest impact on the productivity of human capital in a military force.
