Abstract:

Terrorism is currently one of the most important concerns of governments, both domestically and internationally, which has posed enormous challenges to countries, especially those in the Middle East. Thinkers, researchers and experts have expressed different views about the causes of this phenomenon and have explained its roots from different perspectives and with political, psychological, economic, social, ideological and ... justifications. In the Middle East, in spite of religious, ethnic and different types of governments, the ground for the spread of terrorism has been prepared. The results show that some regional and trans-regional actors in the Middle East need to pursue their domestic, regional and international goals through violence and terror. While there are many terrorist groups in the Middle East and each of them has different natures, the role of the countries in this region in their formation and expansion is also different and each of them has somehow sought to achieve their goals in this way. Research has been done on them.
