Validation a Scale for Measuring High-Performance Work Systems in Marin Sciences University

Abstract:
The main purpose of the present research is to do a survey on the constituents of High-Performance Work Systems in Noshahr Marin Sciences University. The population included the whole employees of Noshahr Marin Sciences University. 200 employees were selected by simple random method. The research instrument was Dimitrios and et al. (2016) High-Performance Work Systems questionnaire which consisted of 31 items with dimensions of recruitment & selection, training& development, decision making, performance management, job clarity, employee autonomy, employment security with Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.96. The results of factor analysis and principal components analysis using a varimax rotation showed that building blocks of high-performance work systems include performance management, training & development, recruitment & selection, employment security, Job autonomy. Performance management showed the highest contribution to the construction of High-Performance Work Systems in Noshahr Marin Sciences University.
