Abstract:

Considering fundamental role of information technology to various aspects including Commanding approach improvement and optimizing different respect in police events website are certainly significant so as to fulfill Police Department Goals. This paper intended to investigate the role of information technology in crime prevention in Guilan Police Force. This is considered as an applied investigation and descriptive. In fact, one- hundred thirty five of commanders, managers, and Crime Prevention Web users in Guilan Police Force have precisely been chosen in 1391. To analyze the data, a descriptive central model has been used. It goes without saying that information technology has an effective influence on crime prevention, crime discovering, improving traditional approach to systematic one, commanding servicing and controlling. It is highly recommended to use this Web to other specialized police force and appropriate organization and programming to solve the disadvantages and preparing enough equipment to improve it
