Strategic model for preventing corruption with emphasis on the factor of administrative transparency

The present study aims to identify the factors affecting the incidence of corruption and provide a model of prevention. In this study, based on an exploratory study based on in-depth and semi-structured interviews with experts and using coding methods (open, axial and selective), the effective factors in corruption and administrative transparency were identified and Delphi method was used to validate the codings. Finally, the model was designed and then, using factor analysis and structural equations, the model was tested and finally confirmed. Findings show that the elements and factors that cause corruption in an organization are the components and factors that can be improved and managed, while promoting office health, the growth and excellence of the organization. Indicators of weakness of supervision and weakness of communication channels, homogeneity and preference of individual interests over public interests, avoidance of spirituality (extreme materialism and luxury), unemployment and weakness of public livelihood are among the factors that play a major role in corruption.
