The Experimental Economics and its Application in Islamic Economics

Abstract:
Experimental economics was extensively used in the nineties in marketing, advertisement, financial markets, digital markets and public goods. As far as Iran is concerned the author has not come across any study or paper dealing with this subject. Explaining the merits and flaws of this method reviewing certain researches carried out abroad, this paper aims to introduce this technique and set the initial stages for its application in domestic researches. It's argued that- in a laboratory environment - if a set of individuals with firm belief in Islamic economics are selected as a sample and the institutions drawn from Islam’s economic paradigm prevail, one can perform a hypothesis test in Islamic economics to draw scientific theories in Islamic economics.
