Comparison of the effect of NAJA group and individual sports on phy-sical fitness
Whenever the name of a police force is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the physical and mental readiness of the staff and, consequently, the combat readiness of these forces. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of group and individual sports on the physical fitness of NAJA staff.
It is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and survey method. The statistical population includes 168 athletes in group and individual disciplines and the non-probability sampling method is purposeful. The research tool was data collection and theoretical studies in two parts and in the second part. The data obtained from physical tests including manual swimming, long sitting, 60-meter sprint, 2400-meter sprint and 4x9 double were analyzed after entering SPSS software. The validity of the face-to-face research instrument and its reliability with Cronbach's alpha coefficient were calculated to be 0.95. For data analysis in the descriptive part of frequency, percentage, percentage of cumulative frequency, mean and standard deviation and in the section of answering research questions t-test was used.
There is a significant difference between group and individual sports in the three indices of cardiovascular and vascular endurance, agility, muscular endurance and shoulder girdle.
Group athletes due to the presence of other athletes and creating a sense of competition and more interaction with coaches have better physical performance in 5 indicators than individual athletes. Physically it will be more economical.
