Analytical ability of structural and institutional theory to analyze Iran's activism in the two events of "nationalization of the oil industry" and "Barjam"
The present study seeks to answer the question of what is the analytical ability of the institutional structural theory of international relations in how to explain and analyze Iran's activism in the two events of "nationalization of the oil industry" and "Barjam"? The hypothesis is that the reliance on this theory for its emphasis on strategic rationality and the consensus of the great powers led to the "August 28 coup" in 1943 and the "Trump's withdrawal from Burjam" in 2018. The research method is content analysis method; The results show that although the two experiences of "nationalization of the oil industry" and "Barjam" reflect the failed experiences of Iran's foreign relations with the great powers, but the future of national security is directly related to improving the theoretical capabilities of international relations between Iranian agents and diplomats. Ignoring the structural, institutional and process rules of international relations can create new security challenges. Historical facts show that it is possible to repeat these events and developments in the future, unless we have a more accurate understanding of the rules of structural action of actors in foreign relations
