Emotional Intelligence Impacts on the Organizational Commitment in Employees: A Case Study of Abhar Azad University
Since committed and capable human resources are the source of the unique competitive advantage of each organization, in this article, in addition to measuring the level of organizational commitment of employees, the effect of emotional intelligence dimensions on the dimensions of organizational commitment is also examined. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment. Performance has also been studied for this purpose and reviewed the literature and concepts in emotional intelligence. Then, a descriptive-survey method was used to collect information. Data collection uses a questionnaire whose reliability has been tested through Cronbach's alpha, and the validity of the questionnaire has been confirmed using the opinions of professors and experts. The statistical population of this study includes the staff of Abhar Azad University, who were studied by simple random sampling. The sample size was estimated to be 105 people using Cochran's formula table, and after collecting the data, the data were analyzed using AMOS 99 software. The results of data analysis with the help of regression showed that the components of interpersonal, interpersonal, stress tolerance, adaptability, and overall mood significantly affect organizational commitment.
