Abstract:

Using the results of rural tourism requires a careful analysis of the potentials of these areas for development. One of the necessary conditions of development is the existence of optimal social capital in the host society. Thus, the social capital for developing tourism was analyzed in the present study. This research is an applied one concerning its type and analytical – descriptive regarding its nature. The data were in the questionnaire form which had been gathered in library and experimental ways. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics in which the Promethe model and correlation were used. In the Promethe model the parameters are weighed. In this study, parameter weighting has been done in Dolfi method. The obtained results showed that the social capital of the villages understudy have a normal status to attract tourists and also social cooperation has the highest correlation with the social capital in those villages.
