THE SCOPE OF INTELLECT IN REVELATORY DIVINE SCIENCES

Discussion regarding intellect are divided into three areas: ontology, psycholog, and epistemology. One of the important epistemological discussions about intellect in the school of the Ahlul Bayt (a) is the interaction of intellect and revelation to derive and understand beliefs of the religion. From this point of view, revelation enlightens the intellect with three functions of awakening tanbihi], explaining tabyini and teaching [ Ta’limi ]. However, in some cases, intellect has an inherent limitation. In this article, the following four rules have been used to discuss the limitations mentioned: prohibition of syllogism , the impossibility of deep and complete recognition , the impossibility of recognition through comprehension and impossibility of recognition through description .
