Investigating the factors affecting social harmony among ethnic groups living in Shahinshahr (Case study of citizens aged 15 to 65 years)
The aim of this article is to investigate the factors affecting social harmony among the citizens of Shahin Shahr, Isfahan. This research is based on a quantitative approach of descriptive-correlation method. The statistical population of citizens aged 15 to 65 years is Shahinshahr, which according to the statistics of 2016, was 173,329 people. Which was studied using the Cochran's formula of a sample of 384 people aged 15 to 65 years. The sampling method in this research is multi-stage sampling. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, the validity of which was obtained through formal and its reliability was obtained through Cronbach's alpha. Also, Spss24 and Amos24 software were used to analyze the research data and descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the findings. Findings showed that, between social (0.47), cultural (0.11), political (0.11), media (0.14), individual (-0.21) and economic (0.54) factors There is a significant relationship with the convergence and harmony of ethnic groups in Shahinshahr. The results show that the level of social harmony among the citizens of Shahinshahr was lower than the average and equal to (27.48). Also, economic factors (4.14) and political factors (7.85) were lower than the average. But social (63.10), cultural (25.19), individual (18.61) and media (25.56) factors were higher than the average. Findings of regression analysis show that 32% of the variance of social harmony among ethnic groups is explained by research variables.
