Evaluating the effectiveness of general education courses for trained officers(Case study: one of the higher education centers of the Armed Forces)
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the general training course for trained officers in one of the higher education centers of the Armed Forces, from the perspective of learners and their direct officials. To identify the dimensions and components of effectiveness evaluation and achieve a conceptual model of research, a goal-based approach as well as the crack-Patrick effectiveness evaluation model were used. This research was applied based on purpose and descriptive-survey based on nature and method. The statistical population of this study was the learners and their direct managers. The sample size of this study was 170 people and for sampling in the range of learners, the multi-stage stratified-relative method was used and for the range of officials, a simple random method was used. Both library and field methods were used to collect data from this study. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale and 95% reliability. The results of the research showed that the mentioned training course has been effective in the fields of gaining stakeholder satisfaction, learning, changing and improving behavior and obtaining results.
