Practical strategies for non-criminal prevention of banking crimes
As much as banks can play a constructive role in the economy of a country, their unfavorable performance can also have very destructive effects on the economic system of a country. One of the factors that cause the unfavorable performance of banks in the economy of a country is the occurrence of widespread bank crimes and violations, which often occur as a result of the lack of effective monitoring mechanisms in banks. This article is presented with the aim of practical solutions in the field of social prevention and situational prevention of bank delinquency.
The present research was carried out using a descriptive and analytical method.
Coping with numerous examples of bank delinquency is done through two ways of criminalizing and imposing punishment for this illegal behavior (criminal prevention) as well as non-criminal solutions (non-criminal prevention) of its occurrence. Criminal prevention should be used as a last resort, therefore, the category of preventive criminology (non-criminal prevention) of bank crimes is important, because the volume and complexity of such crimes are such that they are practically in the current judicial system and criminal procedure. It is not possible to handle it accurately and according to justice. The most important solutions for social prevention of bank delinquency are things like increasing education and promoting public awareness; Development of codes of conduct and ethical charters; promoting civil participation;
