The Effect of Social Disappointment on the Types of Crimes Among Criminals of Golestan Province

The main aim of this title is theoretical and empirical study of two variables: social disappointment as the independent and type of crimes by intensity as the dependent. The place and time of the study are Golestan province and year of 1382. Golestan province has different ethnic and language groups and seems that social disappointment is different among them and these differences have moderate influence on the intensity of crimes among these social groups.The statisitical society are 3500 prisoners in Gonbad and Gorgan prisons. The statistical samples are 344 prisoners who are selected by quota method from four prison sections includes of the Nezam, the Enghelab court, the administration of justice and the Neswan sections. The majority of prisoners belonged to criminal or deviant groups with the light, moderate and heavy crime or deviant. The measurement scale of social disappointment have has 19 degrees. Mean of this variable was been 10.16 for total of sample cases. The results shown that the mean of social disappointment among prisoners with heavy crimes or deviations (11.11) was been more that the value for prisoners with light and moderate ones (9.81 and 9.97). Mean of social disappointment among Baloooch and Zaboli prisoners are maximum and the rateof heavy crimes or deviations are maximum too. The results shown that there is no significantly relation between the mean of social disappointment and light or moderate crimes or deviations. The final result of this title is that social disappointment when is higher than specific value on the scale, probability of doing heavy crimes or deviations will be increased significantly but in the case of crimes and deviations with lower intensity, this variable has no significant effect.
