Feasibility Study of Teaching the Concept of God to the Male Elementary Students of Bābul

The purpose of the present study is to explore the feasibility of teaching the concept of God to the male elementary students in Bābul. Using simple random sampling, 75 male students were chosen from among elementary students in Bābul as the research sample. Since the perception of students from the concept of God in terms of His attributes, essence, role, and place as well as relationship with Him were intended in this research, some consultative questions were used in the interviews to complete the data. Data analysis method was used for the sake of analyzing and interpreting the data, and the "Friedman" test was used for ranking the factors under study. SPSS23 was the statistical software applied in this research. The results showed that according to children's age condition and rational growth, their perception of God in different ages has considerable distinct dimensions so it must be considered in the way of teaching this concept to them. Children between 8 to 9 years old recognize the concept of God by their sense and this concept is not beyond the limit of their sensual perception. The majority of students recognize God as the creator of the world in their interviews. Teaching the concept of God is one of the most complicated fields in education. Children's age condition tell us how we can truly explain this concept to them and of course, we can talk about the existing challenges in this regard with them as well.
