Explaining the Key Propulsion of Iran-Iraq relations on the Horizon of 2031

Iraq is one of the most important influential players in Iran's neighbors and the Middle East due to its geopolitical position and potential economic potential, and special political, cultural and social characteristics. In this study, in response to the question, what are the key factors and drivers of the future of Iran-Iraq relations until 1410? In response to the above question, first by reviewing the sources and previous relevant scientific records and using the opinions of 23 experts, 117 effective indicators were counted and then using the Delphi method, 21 important and effective indicators were identified that had the most impact And further by Mic mac Futures Studies software And using the method of analysis of matrix cross-effects and entering information into the software of six key drivers, including: Arbaeen March, cultural commonalities, Iranian support and assistance to resistance groups (Hashad al-Shaabi, Cataeb and Asaeb Ahl al-Haq), Shiite religious affinities, Common threats and interests between the two countries, the confrontation of the Arab order with the Shiite crescent were identified. Focusing and using these indicators in order to formulate the vision and policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand and deepen strategic ties with Iraq will be effective in building a favorable future for relations between the two countries.
