Assessing the level of satisfaction with the quality of urban life in Zahedan from the perspective of students (Case study of Sistan and Baluchestan University and Medical Sciences)

The concept of quality of life can be considered as one of the broad concepts whose importance is expanding day by day in many fields of study in various scientific and academic fields. The quality of life is the ability of the environment to provide and respond to the material and spiritual needs of people in society. Every society will enjoy dynamism and vitality when its citizens enjoy sufficient and desirable quality of life. The purpose of this article is to evaluate and measure the indicators of the quality of urban life in Zahedan from the perspective of the students of the National University of Medical Sciences in Zahedan. In this regard, five main indicators have been introduced, which are: physical-spatial, social, cultural, economic and security. The research method is descriptive-analytical and survey. In this research, the total number of the statistical population is 30,000, which was obtained by placing 129 samples for the University of Sistan and Baluchistan and 100 samples for the University of Medical Sciences. The data obtained through the questionnaire was analyzed using spss software, and to obtain the satisfaction of the students (National and Medical Sciences University) with life in Zahedan city, we used the single sample mean test and to obtain We use the Pearson correlation test for the impact of physical indicators and the quality of urban life (due to the large sample size). The results of the research show that the level of satisfaction of students (National and Medical Sciences University) with life in Zahedan city is average. Based on the results obtained from the Pearson correlation test between social, cultural, economic and security indicators and the quality of urban life, we can see that the correlation between these two indicators is 0 and it is acceptable.
