Examining electronic signatures in Iranian and French law

Electronic signature is one of the new concepts in the field of law, which despite being new, has not yet developed mature and efficient rules for it. Due to the fact that many matters are online and official letters are exchanged via e-mail to each other, the existence of an electronic signature that guarantees the credibility of the signatory is felt more than ever. Also, the society should feel safe about such a signature and look with confidence that this is possible only with accurate and up-to-date legislation. Considering such a background in this article, we are trying to explain the nature of electronic signature in the laws and legal system of Iran and France in an analytical-descriptive and library method. The results of the research show that Iran and France have included many UNCITRAL laws in their law and have accepted this type of signature as a valid reason in the courts, but in France, its value is very important.
