Survey the role of foreign social networks in young people's tendency to fashion and its relationship with social security (Case study of boys and girls aged 20-16 in District 2 of Tehran)
Today, the expansion of social networks has led to a change in the beliefs and cultural values of the younger generation, and we are witnessing the distance of young people with cultural and national values day by day. Accordingly, the alienation of young people with rich values and local culture can be a threat to the social security of society. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to the relationship between the use of social networks in young people's tendency to fashion and social security.
This research is applied in terms of purpose, descriptive in nature and survey in terms of method of collection. The statistical population includes all boys and girls aged 16-20 years in District 2 of Tehran, 4500 people, and 350 people were selected using random sampling method. The data collection tools include a 19-item questionnaire of Jahanbani social networks (2019), a researcher-made questionnaire made by fashion and beauty criteria (Bahrami, Farrokhi and Sharifinia, 2019) and a questionnaire of 25 social security questions. The statistical method of this study was multivariate analysis of variance using SPSS software.
The findings of this study indicate the effective role of foreign social networks in the tendency of young people to the standards and fashions of foreign culture and also the use of these networks has a significant relationship with reducing social security (P <0.05).
Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of these networks without awareness can be considered a serious threat to the rich culture of society and ultimately endanger social security.
