Analysis of the quality of the urban environment with the perception of aesthetics and Place attachment in the spaces of Tabriz metropolis (Case Study of Tabriz Saat Square)
Trying to understand the environment and the quality of urban spaces in the living environment is one of the most basic issues that urban thinkers should pay attention to due to the decline in environmental quality, especially urban spaces in terms of aesthetics and sense of belonging, to a lively environment and create to suit the moods and needs of users. With regard to this issue, the purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of the urban environment with spatial attachment and aesthetic perception in the metropolitan areas of Tabriz.
The research method is descriptive-analytical and survey type. The sample size is 384 visitors to Tabriz Clock Square. For the structural model, second-order factor analysis (SEM) of Amos software version 26 and SPSS were used.
The results show that in the final structure model, two components of environmental aesthetics (direct with 0.96 and indirect with 0.65) and sense of belonging directly (directly with 0.94 and indirect with 0.78 In total, with 0.93, they have been effective in improving the environmental quality in Tabriz Clock Square.
Therefore, there is a direct positive and significant relationship between the environmental quality of urban spaces with aesthetics and the sense of belonging of citizens, which are the cause and effect of each other in improving the environmental quality and urban spaces.
