The Role of the Student Movement in the Publicization of the Islamic Revolution: A Case Study of Isfahan Students (1972-1979)
The purpose of the research is to investigate the role of teenagers as an important social group, their movement and its effectiveness in publicizing the Islamic Revolution.
Method and Research Design:
Archival records and Oral history of Isfahan from1972 to 1979 were investigated.
The role of secondary school students of Isfahan in publicizing the revolution and the participation of various citizens of the city were fundamental and very effective in the final stage of the movement. Students played the main role in bringing people to the streets, especially since November 1978, and thus were the leaders in the final process of street struggles.
