The Relationship Between Responsibility and The Quality of Work Life in Military Services
Quality of work life is one of the most organizational growth techniques that try to provide three-factor of motivation, job satisfaction and acceptance of responsibility and a sense of commitment to work simultaneously and achieves this with the participation of employees in decision making. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between responsibility and the quality of work-life of military personnel in Quchan city.
This is a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population consisted of about six hundred military personnel who were selected as a sample according to the Krejcie-Morgan table. The statistical sampling method is stratified random. Data were collected using two accountability questionnaires under the California Questionnaire (CPI) and the Walton Quality of Work Life Scale (QWL). Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression were used to analyze the data.
In this study, the variables of responsibility as a predictor variable and quality of work-life as a criterion variable. There is a positive and significant relationship between responsibility and quality of work-life) p <0.01). among the predictor variables of quality of work-life, the responsibility and conscientiousness have the most share and power in predicting the quality of work-life, respectively.
Conscientiousness, responsibility, reliability, acting according to rules and regulations, have a positive and significant relationship with quality of work-life with these interpretations, it can be said that the sub-components of conscientiousness, responsibility and acting according to order and regulations have the highest correlation with the quality of working life.
