The role of Iranian followers in the emergence of cultural ideas in Basra (first two centuries A.H.)

After the Arab conquest in the east and the need to establish a permanent garrison, Basra was chosen and established. But Basra was founded in a place where Iranian garrisons were located in the centers and surrounding areas since ancient times, and many Iranians lived in those areas. After the establishment of Basra, many Iranians, including horsemen and farmers, lived there. Iranians gradually became Muslims and became one of the great Islamic scholars. Recognizing and explaining the role of Iranian vassals in the emergence of Basra's cultural ideas in the first two centuries of Islam is the aim of this research.This research aims to answer the question of what role did Iranian followers play in the emergence of cultural issues in the first two centuries of Islam? It used the descriptive-analytical research method which was done in a library and documentary way.
