The effectiveness of group logotherapy on loneliness and social adjustment of female students with physical disabilities in Tehran

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of group logo therapy on Loneliness and social adjustment of female students with physical disabilities in Tehran in 2020-2021. The method of the present study was quasi-experimental based on a pre-test post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the present study consists of all female students with physical disabilities in Tehran in 2020-21 that 40 of them were selected by using of available samlpling as a sample and assigned to experimental and control groups of 20 people. Participants answered the questionnaires of Loneliness (1980) and social adjustment (1993). Findings from covariance test showed that group meaning therapy was effective in increasing social adjustment and decreasing Loneliness and f values ​​were significant at the level of 0.01. The results in general showed that the use of meaning therapy can be effective in Loneliness and social adjustment of students with physical and motor disabilities.
