The privacy of individuals is an issue in Imami jurisprudence and law
Privacy is a realm of every person's personal life that should not be entered without consent and permission. In Islamic law and Imami jurisprudence, the need to respect the right to privacy of individuals is considered very special. In the Constitution of the Islamic Republic, as well as the Criminal Procedure Law approved in 9219, the Law on Publishing and Free Access to Information, and the Law on Punishment of Persons Who Engage in Unauthorized Activities in Audio-Visual Matters, some examples of privacy are also mentioned. In the examination of jurisprudential evidence and legal materials, collecting and publishing private information of citizens is forbidden except according to the law and in compliance with the relevant regulations.
