Analysis of the economic consequences of corona on rural areas
The coronavirus epidemic is first and foremost a great human catastrophe. The Covid-19 virus has many economic consequences and has affected almost every country in the world, so it is expected that the global economy will pass 2020 with a significant recession. Meanwhile, Iran, like many other countries, is embroiled in this global pandemic and is suffering as a result of the economic consequences. This necessity led to the economic consequences of this disease on rural areas. Due to the prevalence of this disease in the world and in Iran, this study was conducted to investigate the economic consequences of coronavirus in rural areas, which in terms of purpose is part of applied research and is descriptive based on the nature and method of research. The statistical population is all the villages of the country. The required information has been collected through the library method and a collection of articles and Internet resources. The results show that the corona has an impact on the supply chain, supply and demand, labor supply, consumption of goods and services, and especially by reducing the income of consumers and producers of agricultural products, tourism, and handicrafts in the short and long term. Rising unemployment and inflation, shortage of labor for farms, the difficulty of delivering products to the market and its waste affect the rural economy.
