The dominance of Quranic discourse on the mind and language of Hafez
Hafiz memorized the Quran and not only recited it from the exemplar and in fourteen narrations; Rather, the Quran had become a part of his intellectual and spiritual existence, mind and language seem to be one. Whatever is in the storehouse of the mind comes out of the language, and whatever comes out of the language forms the mind. It seems that there is not a dialectical but a complementary relationship between these two and they are complementing each other. Hafez's language, even in those times when he sang romantic ghazals, was unconsciously embellished with the language of the Quran, because Hafez's mind emitted from his language the same thing that the discourse had dominated his soul, body and mind. It was a long time that Hafez was engaged with the Quran and learning the Quranic sciences, and it is evident that the learning of a child on the mind and language is an indelible tablet. This is how the child who went to the school of the Quran, later sang his Quranic learning in the most beautiful way possible and created a beautiful world, the like of which the human society has rarely seen. Indeed, how was that very clever mind and language, that whatever he sings, a smell of the secrets of Quranic knowledge could be smelled from it? This writing has revealed some of these Quranic beauties in Hafez's poetry and poetic language and the mastery of this discourse over his verbal and content language and has extracted Quranic concepts in a meaningful analysis. The findings of this research show that it is rare to find a poem by Hafez in which Quranic knowledge has not penetrated in the form of words and concepts, meaning and verbal structure, and Hafez has not expressed it artistically in his words in the best possible way.
