In crime prevention policies and plans, the evaluation and review of crime costs shows that there must be a balance between the net costs of crime and the costs of its prevention. In fact, deterrence should be optimal. Based on this, only a certain amount should be spent in the field of crime prevention, because some crimes are not worth preventing; Because the costs caused by them are much less than the costs of their prevention, and in fact, with prevention, the society gains less benefits, or it is necessary to spend a certain amount to prevent them. . Economic analyzes in the field of crime prevention through the certainty of punishment and increasing the probability of arrest and the severity of punishment in criminal prevention have many costs, therefore the allocation of resources and investment should be in the field of education and non-criminal preventions. .
