Design of Zero energy High-rise building with a Green architectural approach
Nowadays, high-rise building construction and vertical development of cities is inevitable due to the increase in population and land prices. High-rise buildings indicate the advancement of technology and people's distance from untouched nature. Therefore, green architecture goes towards raising the quality of human life and building healthier buildings. Therefore, design is a progressive approach based on saving energy, paying attention to climatic issues and establishing a good relationship with nature, along with designing residential spaces with good quality and providing peace and comfort to its residents. In recent years, many efforts have been made regarding the use of renewable energies and it has become necessary and necessary to produce energy from them using advanced technology on a large scale due to the decreasing trend of fossil combustible materials in the earth. On the other hand, nowadays it is important how to use renewable energies in buildings, especially in architecture. Zero energy buildings are among these buildings with advanced technology. The architecture of the building should be designed based on the climatic conditions, and the potentials and limitations of the climate should be considered. Zero energy buildings pursue two goals: the first goal is to reduce the energy consumption of the building to the minimum possible, and the second goal is to produce energy in the building through renewable sources. This study is carried aimed to pay attention to the issue of building energy in the initial stages of architectural design in order to find the optimal form of a tall building in terms of receiving solar energy and determining the effective features in reducing the energy consumption of a tall building. What is important in this research is the reduction of energy consumption in the building by using passive solutions to reduce energy consumption with high economic justification and achieving a logical balance according to the definitions of zero energy, between the energy consumption of its production through renewable energy sources and power network. The method used in this study is descriptive-analytical.
