Analyze the dimensions of professional structure development for sports organizations based on the theory of Strauss and Corbin

The aim of this study was to analyze the dimensions of professional structure development for sports organizations based on the theory of Strauss and Corbin.

The research method is qualitative with a systematic analysis approach. The statistical population included two sections of human society (former directors of the Physical Education Organization, current and former directors and presidents of the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sports and Youth) and the information society. A statistical sample of a sufficient number was selected based on theoretical saturation in a non-probability targeted and snowball technique (17 people and 29 documents). The validity of the instrument was assessed using qualitative validation methods (content validity, kappa coefficient (0.792)). For data analysis, a systematic approach has been used during the three stages of open, axial and selective coding.

Finally, 18 main categories (internal and external environment, organizational culture, professional structure, executive instructions, administrative bureaucracy, managers' intervention, level of control, human and financial resources, technology, staff training, infrastructure, Standardization of affairs, free expression, improvement of communication quality, delegation, productivity, improvement of decision making and improvement of sports performance) and 22 concepts were extracted.

The category of professional structure in the design of sports organizations is of great importance and has various aspects. Also, using this dimension analysis and strategies based on Strauss and Corbin, we can expect the development of the professional structure of sports organizations in Iran.
