Investigation of investment in Zanjan province in a ten-year period (2012-2022)

One of the key factors of production that causes development among countries is capital injection, which can have a positive effect on economic growth, per capita income and employment. The increase in investment from passive savings causes the growth and development of the economy and the improvement of macroeconomic components. In the current research, Zanjan province with high potential in Iran has been selected with investigations and explorations in the field of domestic and foreign investment. This province is selected due to its investment capacities, its neighborhood with seven other provinces, its proximity to the country's capital, and its history. It shows that it is a suitable pole for the present research. The purpose of this article is to investigate the impact of domestic investments on foreign investment and foreign investment on domestic investment in Zanjan province.

The theoretical model of this article follows Skropova's 2015 theory and the annual data is tested with linear regression for the period 2010-2015.

Finally, the result shows that there is no significant relationship between domestic and foreign investment in Zanjan province and they do not have a significant effect on each other.
