The ratio of pre-death perceptions and post-death perceptions in Sadra's Wisdom

The aim of this study is to identify the factor of preservation and persistence of human perceptions and then to discover the relationship and ratio of perceptions, before and after death, in Mulla Sadra's thought. For this purpose, theoretical and fundamental research was conducted using written sources and descriptive-analytical method. In the material world, human perceptions are dependent on the physical body, but the role of sensory organs in them is only provocative. Perceptions are abstract in themselves, which, according to Sadra's psychology, growing from a physical context and going through the stages of abstraction and evolution until they reach another world. Imagination and the exemplary order of the soul are the carriers of perceptions and the cause of their persistence. With the departure of the material body and the change of the realm of human existence, perceptions also remain different. Post-death perceptions, unlike pre-death perceptions, have no acquired dependence on the mind, but are a presential and order of the soul itself, which reaches its ultimate evolution and stability with the substantial movement of the soul and summoning them means observing the soul by the soul itself at the same level of perception.
