Causes and Factors of Girls' Escape from Home (A Case Study of Amol City)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the causes and motivations of girls escaping from home and trying to study the phenomenon of escape from different aspects.

This study was a qualitative One with content analysis technique. In this study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 girls who fled their homes in 1398   and were filing in the welfare and law enforcement agencies.  In-depth interviews were conducted and in a few stages, and  the Collected data  were categorized and analyzed . We also interviewed a number of social welfare and emergency experts in Amol and Sari and a number of Amol and Sari police experts on the causes and reasons of girls' escape from their homes. The results of the present study were classified into four main categories: family, individual, community, and supportive organizations. The results of the study indicate that the family as the first and most important institution of society has an important role in the upbringing and socialization of children with collective standards and values,  and in the event of a malfunction or incorrect operation, the consequences for children will be awaiting. The second factor is the personality and personality traits that will respond to family and social problems The third factor is the community and its elements that play an important role in exacerbating or reducing the damage to children. Ultimately, support and advocacy organizations will play an important role in moderating, rehabilitating, reforming, and re-socializing the affected person if the inefficient family and individual personality and community environment are shaken.
