The Effects of Socio-Economic Development on the Satisfaction of Retirement Paid Veterans by the Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation (Case Study: Tehran Province)
The current paper aims at examining the causes of dissatisfaction among retirement paid veterans by the Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation in the 13 districts of Tehran province and therefore exploring some factors affecting it. First, hypotheses were proposed and then were questioned and tested. The statistical population includes all retirement paid veterans by the Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation that is 6601, of which 384 people from the thirteen districts of Tehran province were studied. The current paper is a survey. Data was collected using written questionnaire and cluster sampling method. The current paper examines the relationship between variables social services and privileges, religious beliefs, leisure and unemployment, feeling of social deprivation, promotion to higher social status and feeling of new need with veterans' satisfaction. Findings show all the hypotheses have been proven and confirmed and the studies show that there is a direct or inverse relationship between the mentioned variables with the satisfaction of veterans. Finally, by analyzing the findings and research data, we conclude a relative dissatisfaction among retirement paid veterans by the Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation in the 13 districts of Tehran .
