The theory of Jihad al-Zhabi in the thought of Ayatollah Mohammad Javad Fazil Lankarani and its relationship with the jurisprudence of resistance

The issue of jihad is one of the important topics and concepts in political jurisprudence - especially the jurisprudence of resistance. In the view of famous Shiite jurists, Jihad is divided into two basic and defensive types. Ayatollah Mohammad Javad Fazil has discussed the third part of Jihad under the title of Jihad Zabi. Since Jihad al-Dhabi is related to the protection of the testicles of Islam, the comparison of this theory with the jurisprudence of resistance is the issue of the present article. Based on this, it has been tried to do this ratio measurement by document analysis, which is one of the qualitative methods.In the comparison of the jurisprudence of resistance and Jihad al-Zhabi, it is acknowledged that Jihad al-Zhabi can be placed as one of the types of jihad along with the two types of primary and defensive jihad. At the same time, Jihad and, as a result, Jihad al-Zhabi, is considered one of the types of resistance jurisprudence. Therefore, the jurisprudence of resistance is absolute general compared to Jihad al-Dhabi. The requirements of resistance jurisprudence include all the rulings and rules in the personal, social, political and other areas that Islam has planned in regulating the livelihood of the Muslim community in this world and the hereafter. Therefore, if any of these matters are faced with danger from the enemies, it is obligatory for Muslims to defend themselves.
