Effectiveness of virtual training of quality of life therapy on work-family conflict, work addiction, mental health and interpersonal interactions in working employees
The present research was conducted with the aim of the effectiveness of virtual training of quality of life therapy on work-family conflict, work addiction, mental health and interpersonal interactions in working employees. The research method was a semi-experimental research method with experimental and control groups and pre-test-post-test and follow up. The statistical population included all secondary school female teachers in Isfahan city in the academic year of 2021-2020, 30 female teachers were selected by random sampling and randomly assigned to two experimental groups (15 people) and a control group (15 people). The experimental group underwent 8 90-minute virtual training of quality of life therapy and the control group remained on the waiting list. Both groups were evaluated in the pre-test, post-test and follow up stages by work-family conflict questionnaire (Carlson et al., 2000) General Health Questioner(Goldberg, 1979), Work addiction questionnaire(Spence & Robbins, 1992) and Interpersonal interactions questionnaire(Mack Alister, 1995). In order to analyze the data, statistical methods and SPSS version 23 software and repeated measures analysis were used. The findings showed that that virtual training of quality of life therapy has a significant effect on work-family conflict, work addiction, mental health and interpersonal interactions (p<0.001). As a result, virtual training of quality of life therapy as an effective therapy can help to improve mental health. Therefore, it is suggested that counselors and psychologists pay special attention to virtual training of quality of life therapy to reduce work-family conflict and work addiction and increase mental health and interpersonal interactions.
