Investigating the mediating role of organizational commitment and green behavior in the relationship between green human resource management and environmental performance (Case study: Saderat Bank of Golestan province)
This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the mediating role of organizational commitment and green behavior in the relationship between green human resource management and environmental performance in Saderat Bank of Golestan province. The research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of method based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research includes 428 employees of Saderat Bank of Golestan province. Using Korjesi and Morgan table, the sample size included 202 people who were estimated and selected based on simple random sampling. Data collection was done using standard questionnaires. Content validity was confirmed by experts and reliability was estimated 0.70 through Cronbach's alpha test. For data analysis, structural equation modeling was used using Smart-PLS 3 software. The results showed that there is a direct and significant relationship between green human resource management and environmental performance, organizational commitment and green behavior of employees. There is a direct and significant relationship between employees' organizational commitment and employees' green behavior with environmental performance. Moreover, employees' organizational commitment plays a mediating role in the relationship between green human resource management and environmental performance, and employee green behavior plays a mediating role in the relationship between green human resource management and environmental performance.
