Legitimacy and Illegitimacy Styles of Abortion in Iranian Criminal Law and International Instruments
Abortion is one of the crimes whose black numbers and figures are perhaps higher and more hidden than many other crimes. Abortion, which is considered a crime in most of the world's legal systems and is punishable by imprisonment, fines and financial punishment, is also punishable in the Iranian legal system and is punishable by the perpetrators and their deputies, although Abortion is one of the most important and controversial issues in various scientific, social and cultural circles of the country, but less is written or spoken about it. All over the world, the problem with abortion is that the laws have nothing to do with what many people actually do. The problems associated with abortion are complex and complex. Abortion is one of the most important social problems and one of the most controversial issues in modern criminal law. Due to the many components involved in abortion criteria in each country, a variety of procedures in the world can be distinguished. Most countries have had different approaches to abortion at different times. This article aims to answer the question of what is the place of abortion in Iranian law and international documents? It has been hypothesized that abortion is one of the crimes that can be punished and that the legislature has not authorized such an act except in exceptional cases. The contents of this article are based on the library and are written in a descriptive-analytical manner. Finally, it has been concluded that abortion is not forbidden in all circumstances, but in some cases it is permissible and even obligatory; Because the protection of the mother's life requires that the fetus be aborted. Of course, abortion must be approved by a group of skilled doctors in this matter, so that all its human and moral aspects are considered.
