Designing a Model of Emotional-Social Intelligence of Lorestan Education Managers
Today, one of the most important issues in the field of organizational development is the emotional-social intelligence of managers. Therefore, the main purpose of this study was to design a model of emotional-social intelligence of Lorestan education managers. The method of the present study was qualitative with thematic analysis. The study population consisted of 17 academic experts familiar with emotional-social intelligence in 2021 in Khorramabad who were purposefully selected based on theoretical saturation method. The research tools were semi-structured interviews that were validated with a formal view and process review and reliability was done with a coding agreement coefficient of 0.88. Coding method was used to analyze the data. Data analysis showed that 54 sub-themes and 6 central themes including motivation, self-awareness, other awareness, adaptability, communication skills and social skills were identified for the managers' emotional-social intelligence model. It can be concluded that the model of emotional-social intelligence of managers has 6 central themes that planners to improve the emotional-social intelligence of managers should pay attention to all these axes.
