Neighborhood Management of Urban Light Transport System (Case Study of Kianpars and Zeitoun Karmandi Neighborhoods in Ahvaz Metropolis)
Due to the effectiveness of some of the problems of metropolises, it seems necessary to adopt management solutions and design and implement appropriate traffic systems in cities through the urban management complex. The present study aims to evaluate traffic control management solutions in Kianpars and Zeitoun Karmandi neighborhoods. This theoretical-applied study employed a descriptive-analytical research method. Also, library and field research techniques were used to collect data. In field research, experts' opinions were collected via a questionnaire after the final approval of the solutions. The research results showed that in Kianpars neighborhood, spatial-physical divisions with a Beta coefficient of 0.532 and supervisory-management divisions with a Beta coefficient of 0.324 have the highest effects on urban transport. Integrated management and public transport, with a Beta coefficient of 0.309, and construction infrastructures, plans, and projects, with a Beta coefficient of 0.254, are in the third and fourth ranks of effectiveness. For Zeitoun Karmandi neighborhood, the highest effect belongs to integrated management and public transport with a Beta coefficient of 0.563, and construction infrastructures, plans, and projects with a Beta coefficient of 0.304. Supervisory management with a Beta coefficient of 0.278, is put in the next rank. The low average of an indicator causes the sum of the indicators to be lower than the baseline.
