Investigating the effect of professional ethics and job security on organizational commitment with the mediating role of social capital, Case Study: Employees of Esfahan's Mobarakeh Steel Company
The purpose of this study was to determine investigating the effect of professional ethics and job security on organizational commitment with the mediating role of social capital. The research is an applied and descriptive-correlation type. The statistical population of the research is employees of Esfahan's Mobarakeh Steel Company. A sample of 285 people was selected using available sampling method. Data collection was done using four standard questionnaires of professional ethics by Cadozir (2002), job security, Nissi et al. (2019), social capital, Nahapit and Ghoshal (1998) and organizational commitment questionnaire by Meier and Allen (1990). The content validity of questionnaires was confirmed by the experts and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to assess the reliability of the questionnaires. Testing of research hypotheses was done using the path analysis method with using AMOS software. The results of this research confirmed a positive and direct impact of job security on organizational commitment. This effect in the standard state is equal to 0/28 and has the highest impact coefficient among other relationships. Also the results showed the indirect relationship between Professional ethics and job security on organizational commitment with the mediator role of social capital.
