Abstract:

Acquittal is one of the essential and important issues in committed Shia literature. Since the Ahl al-Bayt (as) has a high position and status in the eyes of Shiites, the issue of Tawallī and Tabrrī (the alliance with Ahl al-Bayt and dissociation from their enemies) has been one of the most important issues of interest to writers and poets. Talāʿī ibn Rizzīk, a 6th century poet and Fatimid minister, was among the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (as), who in various themes such as praise, lamentation, pride, and satire, praised the progeny of the prophet (as) and announced his acquittal of their enemies. The present research tries to analyze the appearance of seeking dissociation in his Shiite poetry from the enemies of Ahl al-Bayt (as) using a descriptive and analytical method. The research shows that the content of the satires and Talāʿī’s seeking dissociation from the enemies of the Prophet's progeny can be divided into three parts: A. Expressing disgust with the enemies of Imam Ali (as) in the matter of Wilāyat and usurpers of his right in the matter of the successorship of the Prophet (pbuh). B. Hatred and anger towards the enemies of Imam Hussain (as) in the incident of Karbalā, which is often accompanied by mourning. C. Ridiculing historically hated figures and governments such as Bani-Umayya.
