Abstract:

The role of hydrogen as one of the most useful elements of nature cannot be ignored in the human life. From its production to its consumption, it has always had its own unique challenges and has kept experts and engineers busy. Regardless of the method by which this vital gas is produced and for what purpose it is stored and transferred, what will be reviewed in this article is how to choose industrial valves, which should be considered by all designers and engineers in the path of production to consumption. Industrial valves, including manual valves and control valves, face destructive challenges due to the nature of their duties, including disconnecting and connecting and controlling the flow in order to control the temperature and pressure of fluids containing hydrogen. These destructive mechanisms are prone to the occurrence of major disasters, whose human and financial losses are not hidden from anyone. In this article, an attempt has been made to review ways to ensure quality in the selection of valves used in industries in order to control the wastage of hydrogen energy and reduce the risks caused by its leakage
