Design a Security Conceptual Model

Security has always been the bedrock and prerequisite for the growth and development of societies in all economic, political, cultural, and social dimensions, and providing security has been a concern and challenge for human beings. Security is a multifaceted concept and therefore there is a lot of disagreement about its meaning. Having a correct understanding of the concept of security is the first step in providing security for members of society. Therefore, in this research, a conceptual model of security has been designed. This research is a kind of basic studies and qualitative research in terms of nature and implementation method respectively, which has been done using content analysis technique. The information was obtained through the library, archival and exploratory interviews with experts, and then the data obtained from the interview were analyzed using a coding technique via open, axial, and selective coding steps. The statistical population of this research includes 48 experts and related law enforcement and social experts, and the sampling of this research is non-probability purposeful. Data collection continued with analysis until theoretical saturation was achieved for the researchers. Based on the results, two main dimensions of security were achieved: real security and feeling of security, and in the first dimension, 14 components, in the second dimension, 10 components were identified, and finally, a conceptual model of security was presented.
