Investigating the Relationship between Attitudes Towards Delinquent Behavior and Violence with the Culture of Bullying among Male High School Students in Bojnourd in the Academic Year98-99

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between attitudes toward delinquent and violent behavior with the bullying subculture among male high school students in Bojnourd in the first semester of 2019-2020. This research is descriptive in nature and is a correlational study in which the aim is to discover the relationship between variables. After selecting the statistical sample, the questionnaires were given to the male high school students in Bojnourd and finally the data were evaluated and analyzed using a simple correlation method. Bojnourd Education Department announced that the population of male students in the secondary high school was 1,200 in the academic year 2019-2020. Then, according to the Krejcie-Morgan sample size table (1970), 291 people were considered as a sample. Due to the dispersion of the population, cluster sampling method was used and 367 questionnaires were distributed and 25 classes were randomly selected to reach the required number of samples. Findings indicate that there is a significant difference between the rate of bullying in delinquent and normal male adolescents, but there was no significant difference in social skills between the two groups. Accordingly, and according to the average of each group, the rate of bullying in delinquent adolescents is significantly higher than the rate of bullying in normal adolescents. Also, there is no significant difference between delinquent and normal adolescents in terms of social skills.
