Studying the Relationship between the Role of Rule of law and Crime Prevention in Ashkhaneh City

Abstract:
Purpose of the current study is to survey the relationship between the role of rule of law and crime prevention in Ashkhaneh city. The survey method is used to conduct this research, and in order to collect the data scheduled questionnaire is used to measure the role of law and crime prevention. The measures validity is confirmed and the reliability is based on Cronbach’s Alpha Test as 71/0 and 82/0 respectively. The statistical population of the study was comprised of all students of Ashkhaneh Payame Noor University which were 1300 students. According to the Krejcie and Morgan sample size table,297 students were selected as observation unit through classified sampling method. The main hypothesis was confirmed by % 99confidence using correlation coefficient tests. Also there is a significant relationship between the rule of law components namely, the role of coercion in the rule of law, the role of media in the rule of law, and the role of literacy in the rule of law in related to the crime prevention with % 99confidence.
