Study of Students Persuasion Guidelines to Non – Text book Reading

Abstract:
This research is purposed to direct students toward reading non-textbooks more than academic textbooks-to develop their knowledge and qualifications. This direction can be facilitated by university purposeful planning. Statistical population of this research consists of male and female students of human sciences in Azad University of district 8 and 540 of them were selected by multi-level accidental method. A researcher- made questionnaire distributed, which is taken from was motivating factors in university such as holding book-studying festivals, utilizing various teaching methods by professors, the ways of presenting library services and interests of the students to their fields of study. After collecting data and statistical analysis, the findings of this study showed that the following factors can have the efficient role on attitudes of university students to help them read non-textbooks: The role of the instructor’s teaching method, holding book reading competitions, Holding book fair, Reviewing the way of giving library services.
