Investigation of Techniques and Methods of Effective Interrogations on the Confesses of Criminal Accusers
Conversations, interviews, negotiations, inspection, and interrogation define and limit the human communication between the two or more people. In this regard, the type of interaction in the form of oral and verbal communication or non-verbal communication act as receiver and transmitter function of the communication channel. Whatever exchanges between interviewer and interviewee, among the negotiating team members, between investigator and suspect, and finally between the interrogator and accuser is a combination of concepts, words and non-verbal signs and messages blended by psychological actions which leads to a communicational stream between these elements. This study investigates the techniques and methods of effective interrogations on criminal accusers confess for all crimes which happened in Bojnourd city in the year 2010. For this purpose, 4 models of confessing from accused by using Ride method, deciding to admit, cognitive and behavioral and psychoanalytic model have been used. The Chi-Square test used for analyzing the data, testing the hypotheses, and comparing the models. The results depict that, among the four models only psychoanalytic models affects on the accusers confesses alone. Moreover, the combination of the four models also can affects on the accusers confesses. Finally, there is a significant difference between deciding to admit and Ride models, cognitive-behavioral and psychoanalytic models, cognitive behavioral and Ride models, and deciding to admit and cognitive-behavioral models.
