Comparison of the Active and Inactive Employees of Northern Khorasan Province Disciplinary Command in complication with Forward Head syndrome

Abstract:

Activity and mobility are an integral part of human life which is posed in every period of human life in a particular form. Considering that nowadays due to industrialization of the societies humans’ activities are limited, therefore the aim of this study is to compare factors affecting the physical fitness like hormones and postural abnormalities among the active and inactive male employees of Northern Khorasan disciplinary command. The causal-comparative method was employed in this study. Out of 1500 people who completed the physical activity assessment questionnaire, 100 candidates were qualified to participate in this study as statistical sample. Participants have been divided into two groups of active (they used to do the exercise three sessions a week and one and half hours in every session) and inactive (they were doing no exercise). In order to analyze the data descriptive statistics (measures of central tendency and dispersion) and inferential statistics (for checking the normality of the data K-S test, and for comparing the active and inactive groups T-Student’s test were used) were used. the results showed that there was a significant difference between active and inactive groups of male employees of Northern Khorasan disciplinary command in case of forward head syndrome.
